According to Film, which was then confirmed by Variety, The Mandalorian’s sophomore season will mark the character’s first appearance in live-action. Ahsoka is Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi padawan apprentice who made her debut in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The Chosen One’s apprentice is one of the central characters in the animated Star Wars series, which was voiced by Ashley Eckstein across all seven seasons of The Clone Wars (the final season is currently airing on Disney Plus).

Following her appearance in The Clone Wars and Rebels, Ahsoka has since appeared in comics, her own novel, and even a voice Rey hears at the end of The Rise of Skywalker.
